Use our worksheet to help your kid practice writing the letter ‘A’ in cursive. The letter ‘A’ belongs to the clock climbers group (the lowercase for these letters need clockwise or anticlockwise hand rotations).
Encourage your kid to practice on the dotted lines for the uppercase and lowercase of the letter ‘A’ in cursive. Next, let them try freehand writing. Once they get a hold of the technique, ask them to trace the words that start with the letter ‘A’. Now, your kid would be able to do the last section of the worksheet, that is, tracing a complete sentence.
The flow of the worksheet is designed to help second and third grade students to learn the right way of writing a cursive letter. It also teaches the rules of line spacing and usage of lowercase and uppercase letters.
